Leviticus 6:11-13

¹¹ Then he shall take off his garments and put on other garments, and he shall bring the ashes outside the camp to a clean place. ¹² The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it. It shall not go out. The priest shall feed it with wood every morning. He will arrange the burnt offering on it, and he shall burn the fat of the peace offerings on it. ¹³ A perpetual fire shall be kept burning on the altar. It shall never go out.
